VANILLA SKY NUDE
Choreography debut during the Bachelor Dance, performed at the top floor of the Amsterdam School of the Arts. Inspired by and performed on a remix of the song Nude by Radiohead. When I wanted to buy Nude on Itunes I also found the bass, drum, guitar and string stem of the track and with assistance of Ingmar Kiemenij, made a new mix. Inspired by the location I wanted the dancers to wear urban/street like clothes in which they could move. It was cold and rainy during the rehearsals so I made transparent suits from plastic. With the audience sitting inside, looking at the performance through the window that opened ones during the performance, I wanted them to get a glimpse of another world.
